The Presario R4115US (US = available only in the United States) is one of Compaq’s budget laptops, though it has some quality features they are still not enough to make it a multimedia consumer notebook. it is built around an AMD Sempron 3200+ CPU at 1.8 GHz, with PowerNow! technology enable, which means that it saves power never allocating more processor power that a specific application requires. It comes with 512 mg installed system memory and the motherboard supports a maximum upgrade to 2 GB.
As storage facilities it is shipped with a 60 GB SATA hard drive, of course it is replaceable, and a DVD-R/RW and CD-RW combo optical drive with double layer capability.
